Worship
Without Walls
is a gathering of the Body of Christ to worship Jesus
Christ in one accord, across denominational lines in
the
Salt Lake City/Park City/Ogden, Utah
area.
We are a part of what the Lord is doing internationally to
bring His people under one Name...the Name of Jesus
Christ. There is a call among the Body to come
together with the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God
in the earth. Unity in the Body of Christ is a prayer
that Jesus prayed for us almost 2000 years ago. In John
17:21-23, He prayed…
"My
prayer for all of them is that they will be one, just as
you and I are one, Father--that just as you are in me and I
am in you, so they will be in us, and the world will
believe you sent me. I have given them the glory you gave
me, so that they may be one, as we are--I in them and you
in me, all being perfected into one. Then the world will
know that you sent me and will understand that you love
them as much as you love me." (NLT)
That
prayer has yet to be answered. To this point the Body of
Christ has seen unity in a measure, but the Lord is doing a
new thing. He is bringing the Body of Christ together
across the world regardless of denomination. He's
putting together His "dream team." We are beginning
to focus on the 95% that we all agree on and agreeing to
disagree on the 5% that we differ on.
The Lord is seeking
worshippers. He is seeking those who will worship Him in
Spirit and in Truth...those who have a passion to worship
Him. In John 4:23, the Lord said,
"But
the time is coming and is already here when true worshipers
will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father
is looking for anyone who will worship him that way."
(NLT)
The truth is that when the Body of Christ
gathers "in one accord" there is a blessing that is without
compare. The Word says it, Jesus prayed for it, and we are
answering the call.
